Now that I have my TARDIS mug, I finally allowed myself to brew the TARDIS tea!! It tastes like a blueberry muffin *.*

I know it says Ron Weasley, but I don’t have that particular blend, so I decided to try using Mycroft instead.

OH. MY. GOD. It’s like an orgy in my mouth. Really rich and really strong. I want to eat them all right now.

I figured I may as well do a follow-up, just to demonstrate the potency of this recipe. My friends came over to my place shortly after I finished the last batch. In total, I had about 3 dozen cookies. This is what’s left:

I’d call that a rather large success considering there were only five of us.

• Draco Malfoy: [earl grey green, peppermint, almond] Outwardly smooth and charming, but perhaps a bit confused about what it wants to be. A tea that is sure to keep you guessing.
• Cedric Diggory: [irish breakfast, chamomile, honeybush hazelnut] Simple, strong and solid, a tea worth supporting. Try not to get too many tears in your cup.
• Neville Longbottom: [irish breakfast, rooibos vanilla chai, peach] Sweet, a bit befuddled, but all together warm and reassuring. A tea stronger than you’d expect, and endlessly comforting.
• Luna Lovegood: [earl grey lavender, rooibos jasmine, guanabana] The sweetest, softest, warmest tea imaginable, with a wild, surprising finish.

And Uh I feel like an ass because I said these were going to be posted yesterday and then I fell asleep instead and I’ve gotten lots of notes today asking why these haven’t been posted soooo let’s turn this into the mini-est of give aways. Reblog this (NO MORE THAN THREE TIMES) or even just like it and um…. some time tomorrow (Sunday) I will count the notes and randomly pick someone and let them pick one of these teas and I will mail it to them. Round two of Doctor Who tea blends! Doesn’t mean I’m done though ;)

• Captain Jack Harkness: [ceylon sonata, rooibos almond, chocolate chip] A smooth, timeless blend guaranteed to charm anyone off their feet. You can take it to bed, but it will probably keep you up all night.
• River Song: [earl grey moonlight, coconut, rooibos lemon cloud] I could describe this tea, but that would be spoilers.
• Rose Tyler: [ceylon sonata, raspberry patch, earl grey lavender] A fun, bright, sweet blend. Painfully loyal and filled with love and comfort. Careful though, can come on a bit strong and may not be to everyone’s taste.
• Martha Jones: [assam melody, sesame, rooibos caramel] A calm, rational tea with an edge of bravery (don’t question how a tea can be brave, it just CAN). The perfect tea for thrill seekers.
• Donna Noble: [irish breakfast, cinnamon, orange] At first glance you may assume this tea is plain, simple and maybe not very interesting, but let it stick around for a while, and you’ll discover what a comforting (and often exciting!) presence it will quickly grow to be.

Time for the next round of Fandom Tea Blends Giveaways! This week’s tea blend was hard to pick, but I just couldn’t resist doing Sherlock’s any longer *w*! Read below for more reviews/information on the tea, and how to win your own bag of it, as well as an ingenuiTEA tea pot!

THE SHERLOCK BLEND: All at once exotic and mysterious and perhaps a little bit insane, with a lingering hint of smoke. (lapsang souchong, assam melody, oriental spice)

MY REVIEW OF IT: “It smells amazing. I wanted to stick my whole head in the bag. I was actually afraid I had overdone it with the Oriental Spice tea since that’s pretty much all I could smell in the bag. However, once I brewed it, BAM! So smokey. Definitely a very smokey tea, but not nearly as strong as a Lapsang by itself, and once the smokey taste fades you really start to taste the spice again. It’s awesome. I tried it first without adding anything, but there are very few teas I can drink plain. I added a splash of milk and a spoonful of sugar and it was perfect *w*”

WHAT OTHERS ARE SAYING:

• “Dark, smoky, and spicy is the best way to describe this tea. It smells extremely smoky in the bag (almost reminiscent of barbecue sauce), but it mellows out a bit when steeped. You can definitely taste the smoke, but it is balanced nicely by the spice.”-Michelle T.
• “Best of these blends I’ve tried so far. If there’s one tea that can stand up to a spices, Lapsang Souchong is probably it. The assam melody likely bolsters it as well, and seems to have helped with what usually throws off people I try to introduce to Lapsang: they smell it, and it reminds them of barbecue sauce—not a problem with this blend. It’s perfect: dark, smooth, smoky, and all of those other lovely things, with not-overpowering spice. Perfection.”-Katrina W.
